Everyone starts out with the same amount in Monopoly!

Each player is given $1500 divided as follows:

2 $500’s, 2 $100’s, 2 $50’s, 6 $20’s, 5 $10’s, 5 $5’s, and 5 $1’s.

Being in America I have always known how lucky I am because this is the land of opportunity! If you don’t live in America you also have equal opportunity why? Because the power of social media. We live in a time where we don’t ever have to talk to someone on the phone or even meet them in person we can tell them about our opportunity over social media.

You can build your clientele simply by connecting in groups about anything you share as common ground. Seriously anything you love to do go type it in I’m sure there is a group just waiting for you. Connect on these groups and connect with these people. Don’t put a dollar sign on their heads or jump right into your opportunity. Eventually they will see a post or something they like and come to you. Be the hunted not the hunter.

Yes some of us have kids and some of us don’t. Some have a full time job and some a part time job. Some us know a lot of people and some of us don’t. Some us are shy and some of us have no filter and are sociable. Some of us are rich while some of us are poor.

Guess what??? It doesn’t matter these are all just things in our life and we can change these. We can work around them by building new skills. The first thing you need to do before you can make any money is work on personal development. It’s so crucial for your business to grow. Stop focusing on why everyone is succeeding and your not ‘A flower does not look to another flower to bloom, it just does!’ Stop comparing yourself to other people..’Well if I had more time I’d be more successful!’….’If I had more friends I’d be more successful!’…’If I had more money to start I’d be more successful!’

Nope this is just not true. Anything you want is out there you just have to have the courage to grab it. Take a look at your weakness and strength. If you want more friends your gonna have to push yourself from being timid and your gonna have to push yourself out of the comfort zone, Why??? Because outside your comfort zone lies infinite possibilities. This is truly where the magic happens.

If you find yourself struggling and don’t know what to do first start with a list of things you want to change about yourself and things you do very well. Let those feed off each other. Maybe your weakness is public speaking but a strength is being resourceful then find a way to connect those two. If all else fails use Google or Youtube to start out. Anything you want to do is there. Sometimes when I get lost I simply type personal development and find someone I click with then from there it will spark new interests of things to research or new skills I need to acquire.

Next time you are comparing yourself to others remember we all start out with the same amount in Monopoly. We all are working on owning Park Place and Boardwalk.

So find YOUR way to get there its YOUR dream and goal so protect it.

If you still are getting discouraged in the future about everyone else around you succeeding remember the stocks change daily. If your building yourself and growing yourself and working your business you too will be at the top!

  1. I love this article, Brittany! Everyone starts out with the same amount of money in monopoly and some people always win, have you noticed that? It’s because they practice and learn the tricks! Most of all though, it’s because they enjoy the game. You’ve inspired me to write about the subject and link to yours in mine if that’s ok
